Low-Power Solar Charge Controllers
with Maximum Power Point Tracking
The brings the benefits of Maximum Power Point Tracking to the smallest panels yet. Along with tiny self-consumption of 125 microamps in low light (1/20th to 1/50th as much as comparable controllers), the GV-4 delivers 10% to 30% more power from the solar panel to the battery. Tracking the electrical maximum power point improves the performance of solar battery-charging systems by 10-30%. During partial shading, gains can exceed 50%.
Our controllers connect between your solar panel and batteries like any charge controller, but sophisticated electronics allow the controller to operate the solar panel at its most efficient voltage, resulting in significant gains in power. You may also be interested in the GV-10, our standard product for 10.5A panels, or our GVB boost trackers for higher battery voltages. For inquiries regarding our OEM capabilities, please contact us.
