Solar Charge Controllers
with Maximum Power Point Tracking
Genasun's solar charge controllers bring Maximum Power Point Tracking --- a technique common on industrial and utility-size solar panels --- to consumer-sized solar panels. Tracking the electrical maximum power point improves the performance of solar battery-charging systems by 10-30% (read more). These controllers connect between your solar panel and batteries like any charge controller, but sophisticated electronics allow the controller to operate the solar panel at its most efficient voltage, resulting in significant gains in power.
We offer the GV-10 for a variety of lead-acid and lithium battery configurations and can also meet special requests with OEM products.
For a technical description of how maximum power point tracking works, have a look at About Maximum Power Point Tracking.
